"I didn't see this until now. He reminds Bernie of it, and Bernie is not amused. panics may be a fair assessment"

Did you even watch the clip? Bernie said that all of the money he received from "pharma" came from workers in pharma. I don't know if that's true or not, but you're sure being mighty smug about some kind of "gotcha" that might not even be true...

I think they already selected the Oscar Award nominees for 2025. So I am not sure why she is doing this "acting" performance.
If you go on Tik Tok, you’ll realize this is the most regrettable thing anyone has ever done. The mockery is awesome.

I've lost more brain cells than you've ever had and I'm still a genius compared to you...

Ironically, there is only one difference b/w this fake ass weeping by Selena Gomez and the weeping about feminism/no fault divorce/everybody got some pussy except me/Jeffrey Epstein weeping that IB has posted in here daily for years, and it's this: IB's weeping and pain is real. And that pleases me..

What a fucking joke, to the extent that politicians are owned, there's plenty of blame to go around. Why this obsession with "Big Pharma"? Did RFK ever take money from Big Pharma?
Of course the "Big" owns our politicians. Who do you think finances their re-election campaigns? The only politician "Big" does not own, is Trump.

No congressional leader is more at risk of getting caught in the crossfire of Donald Trump’s coming trade wars than Senate Majority Leader John Thune.

Trump said Thursday he’s ready to slap sweeping 25 percent tariffs on Canada and Mexico as soon as Saturday, which will force the South Dakota Republican to decide whether he will use his leadership perch to push back on a tactic that has given him and other agriculture-state GOP lawmakers heartburn or align himself with a burgeoning bloc of MAGA-tinged protectionists in Congress.

Thune knows the stakes all too well: Retaliatory tariffs during Trump’s 2018 trade war with China crippled South Dakota’s agriculture-dependent economy — which relies on the billions of dollars worth of soybeans, corn, beef and other agricultural products it exports abroad every year, plus more in manufactured goods.

Farmers there are still reeling from their losses, and a standoff with Mexico and Canada — which are now American farmers’ two largest export markets — would be devastating. U.S. agricultural exports to Mexico are expected to reach $29.9 billion this fiscal year and a record-high $29.2 billion to Canada, with China further behind, according to the Agriculture Department.

Other farm-state lawmakers and the agriculture industry are quietly counting on Thune to push back against Trump charging into another wave of catastrophic trade wars. But that’s a tall order.

there is some truth to what you say but his 3rd largest donor was Kaiser Permante

In some cases, a cluster of contributions from people associated with the same organization may indicate a concerted effort by that organization to "bundle" contributions to the candidate. Its a work around to avoid seeming like you are on the take from a group.

Now to be fair, Sanders had made a pledge after accepting donation that he would return them from Pharma executives, but he didn't return donations from pharma employees.

I'm sure people would be just as fair and open minded in regards to Trump refusing to accept money from a neo nazi organization, but then find out he took individual donations from self-identified Nazi's.

The panic part was that Sanders knew it was coming and instead of calmly addressing it, he lost his shit and he was incapable of articulating in the moment what the Bernie supporters are now trying to say on his behalf.

think about it for a minute, its not just Gomez who does this, but this is all staged, which makes it so cringe worthy. You do your makeup, choose the lighting, setup your phone - there is nothing in the moment about what she did here.

Plus, fuck her, she was born in Texas. My people? Then go to fucking Mexico.

She got slammed for it, realized it was going to cost her on multiple levels and didn't even have the conviction to leave her video up.

She is an actress. They live in a bubble. In that bubble, she is an educated woman the way Brooks was an educated man INSIDE the walls of Shawshank prison.

In that bubble, she may NOT be insulated from forest fires BUT she is insulated from the criminal dangers and economic consequences of illegal immigration. So, she has NO CLUE what marginal and ordinary US citizens face with illegals that they might have to interface with, day after day. In that bubble, actors and actresses believe that they have the ability to shift a political narrative with their acting performance. She probably thought this would work, would convince the marginal and ordinary US citizens (who like her movies and television show) to change their beliefs. It completely backfired and she is now embarrassed. So she took it down in disgrace. And I am sure she still has NO CLUE why it backfired. Because the bubble that she is in also works to keep her ignorant.

Great!

Look at all that money the federal government will get from rich people paying 25% more to import shit they want (but don't really need) from Canada and Mexico. Have congress take all that tariff money and start paying down the infinite and bottomless black hole that is our $34 trillion dollar debt. Do NOT spend it. Redeem US Savings bonds.

Looking at that chart again, this is a map showing the nation that receives the most goods from that particular state. But since we export to everyone, if Canada is the number one recipient from Montana, then (perhaps) Canada gets 2% of everything Montana makes, and the nation that gets the second most would get like 1.8% or something or other. And like 50 or 60% of everything Montana makes (does Montana make anything other than beef?) are consumed domestically. Or whatever. So who cares if Montana loses their 2% beef exports if Canada gets their panties in a twist?

Maps like this really don't get into the math. They paint a narrative by only showing you the data that the map maker wants you to see.

I thought that map was each state's largest foreign buyer of their goods. I was thinking Nevada was exporting gold to Switzerland since about 80% of the gold production in the US comes from there...
