I am not as smart or long winded but how about stop acting like savages, have respect for your shit, and obey the law. Yeah it sucks you might get profiled. Stop hanging with people that carry guns, do drugs, or just plain act stupid. Don't bring attention to yourself in a negative way. Have respect for the police. Also use the power to vote. People can bitch all they want but they had a chance at the polls in Ferguson in November to remove the DA from office and didn't. If they spent as much time reading, understanding your local community politics, and less time rioting and blaming others, they might have a better argument.
Then shut up

"He didn't say that. He just said it's unfair for someone to inherit what they didn't work for and he's right."

Damn, Cotton Mather, when did you become a such a staunch advocate of the protestant work ethic? What do you do for fun? Chew leather?

Here's something you don't hear every day: Dean emeritus of the Actors Studio Drama School at Pace University and host of the Bravo series "Inside the Actors Studio" James Lipton used to be a pimp -- according to himself. In advance of the show's 250th episode, the youthful 86-year-old admitted to Parade.com that he had pandered "a whole bordello" of women in 1950s Paris, "only a few years after the war."

--------------

I don't know what you heard about me
But a bitch can't get a dollar outta me
No Cadillac, no perms, you can't see
That I'm a motherfuckin' P.I.M.P.

Stops a car, another John to meet.

The premiere was in NY last week (the same night that I was next door to the movie theater at the Alvin Ailey Opening Night Gala and the same night Eric Garner's murder non-indictment happened). I could have gone to see the screening, but I chose to flex my black tie muscle and do the Ailey instead. I will check it out before year's end.

Chris Rock is brilliant in stand up, but his acting sucks (for the most part). He's seems to be always conscious of the camera. This movie comes with a lot of buzz, so I'm hopeful about its quality. There was a big bidding war for the movie after it debuted in the Toronto Film Festival, so it is obviously better than Pootie Tang.

You will NOT dis Pootie Tang in my presence good sir. Pootie Tang is a fucking classic. The Bob Costas interview with Pootie Tang alone is worth the price of admission. And in no way shape or form will I let you diss him as Rufus in Dogma.

And so help me god, if you put down Undercover Brother next, well, it won't be pretty.

Which I know doesn't have Chris Rock but that isn't the point!!

Leslie Jones is going to be a star I think. She is in the movie with Rock and her bits on SNL so far has been great

She is going to fill the role of a modern day Shirley Hemphill only with the ability to say what Shirley couldn't

That scene from Top Five with her, Rock and Tracy Morgan talking about him taking "job benadryl" to keep the jobs away from him is too funny.

"You got to have income to pay income tax, ain't nobody taxin zero"

when the Chris Rock show was on HBO, Pootie Tang would be on the show and interviewed by Rock (or someone else) and the joke was they'd understand everything he said but then he'd mess up and say something wrong and they'd be like "What do you mean "keep it flipside on the hammi-time?" all in disgust with him and he'd be like "oh, I meant to say "keep it flipside in himey town" and they'd be "all ooooohh...ok"

another skit was talking about how a black man couldn't get a taxi in Manhatten and Mario Joyner shows up completely nude on the street trying to get a taxi to stop for him.

That show had some crazy stuff. Taxi cab confessions was the best.
