Most of the kids that would've been locks for UNC back in the day are gravitating to SEC schools now. Ole Miss, USC and Georgia are popular choices, and I've heard of a few going to Bama and MSU...

Makes sense. If you want a superb education and love basketball, then the ACC or Big Ten are the places to be. In the SEC, academics are all well and good, but we don't let them interfere with the real reason for going to college - football.

UNC doesn't let academics get in the way, either.

Certainly have not let it get in the way of us spanking UVa for the past 6 years in a row, all but one by double digits. I expect a similar asswhipping to be laid on the Cavs again this year as well. Not that you care, you're not really a UVa fan anyway...

25+ years of academic fraud > 6-game win streak

Indeed. You will probably face the wrath of "Mr. Donald A. Trump" for your infraction of his rules.

If Ole Miss beats Saban for the third straight year today, the NCAA will slap them with sanctions tomorrow.

They'd have never waited 24 hrs... I just wonder when the mirrors will break and let the smoke out.

Jax used to be notorious for its city-wide unpleasant aroma. That was definitely the case when I was there 20+ years ago. They said it was due to the many pulpwood plants around town. Did they ever get a handle on that problem?

They couldn't figure out how to get rid of the old grinds from the Maxwell House plant.

I guess they figured out how to fix both problems... Maxwell House closed, so are most of the paper mills. So are some good jobs. Smart huh.

See, I would've said "grounds" there. Is grounds/grinds a regional thing?

I hate games like yesterday. Have to win big or something must be wrong AND you have to deal with injuries.........

I posted this a few minutes ago on the SEC board.
A few minutes ago, the local news had the eye 40 miles off Jax, latitude N 30.2 longitude W 80.2. The lag/long I've read in the ramp so many times at Cecil is N30.13, W 81.52. Less than 1 degree.
That would have either cleaned up the smell or added the stench of soured water.....
