I have honestly never seen anything like that in the entire time I've followed sports messageboards on the internet. Was that endorsed by the Administrator of the website? Man, I HATE matt dohnut's guts and vociferously called for Gut to retire, but none of the threads I started on Inside Carolina were ever pinned to the top of the board, nor were anyone else's (even though I KNOW a lot of the IC staff agreed with us).

Do you think this could end up costing O'Brien his job? I mean, he did whip our asses five years in a row. Only Dick Sheridan has ever matched that in Raleigh.

I've got to give it to Auggie, out of everybody I've ever posted with, you always show up after a loss. This one had to be a tough one, given the rivalry and the fact that your guys played so well and arguably outplayed us. But as you said, hell of a game by both teams. Bout time we managed to squeak out a win against you guys, even if it took a minor miracle...

I'll always show up. It was a heck of a game. All I've ever asked out of U*NC is a fair shake which we got on the field today.

To Anti-K, the packpride boards are fairly open. If you want to bitch at the coach you can do it as long as you aren't profane. As I understand it the IC boards are run completely different. Any criticism of U*NC is instantly deleted, and we would never let a poster post personal information about a N&O reporter and his family while IC has allowed Dan Kane's personal info to be posted. IOW we allow criticism of NC State heck maybe even encourage it, while on the IC boards U*Nc can do not wrong and dissent is not tolerated.

While TOB has owned U*NC he has blown a couple of opportunities to take a step up, and his recruiting has been pretty suspect. Debbie Yow will make the call on TOB at the end of the season.As I said when he was hired, NC State is traditionally a .500 program if TOB can consistently win 8 to 9 games while running a clean program I have no complaints. We can still go 9-3 and finish 2nd in the division although 8-4 is much more likely. Beats the hell out of 3-9.

I've only been to Pack Pride briefly a couple of times, so I don't know the vibe over there, but IC is run like a kindergarten class, and most of the posters over there don't seem to mind. Hell, they sometimes seem to enjoy it. You can sometimes get some good recruiting info. I enjoy reading over there, but I could never post there on any sort of regular basis...

I find the possibility that undefeated KSU gets left out of the title game intriguing.
