Isn't it predictable that Bama loses to Ole Miss twice in a row, and suddenly Ole Miss gets investigated by the NCAA?

Meanwhile, the NCAA already has texts and documents showing DJ Fluker and 4 other former SEC players took many from agents in college:

Nothing to see here. Move along.

A three-year-old article that has been largely debunked? You're an idiot.

The first part of that post was superfluous...

Debunked by rolltideroll.com?

Auburn isn't much of a threat to Bama these days, or else Emmert would have found Sheridan's bagman.

1. Rolltideroll is also a smple purveyor of truth.

2. Auburn is always a threat

Not this year. Probably not any time soon. These days are starting to remind me of my college years ('78-'82) when Bear Bryant was peaking, playing for NC's nearly every year. We had Doug Barfield.

Gus has recruited well, the cupboard is well stocked.

The same was true for Chizik.

It would be nice to have coaches who can recruit AND coach. Even other coaches who were great recruiters but poor coaches - like Fulmer and Richt - got 9 or 10 wins a season for a decade simply by overpowering most of their opponents with superior athletes. They only lost 1-3 games a season to teams that had equal talent and better coaches - Saban, Meyer, Spurrier.

Right now, I'd be okay with a decade of 9-10 win seasons instead of this bipolar thing we've got.

Next Saturday night will validate my pessimism.

Speaking of opening week, we can expect the NCAA to announce that USC is under investigation any day now.

Well, maybe they did t want to go through the investigation/penalties again so quickly.

Was a shaky (at best) first quarter. But then it's as though our O and D both woke up from their long Summer's nap.

I expect this is all a ploy to get Ole Miss to be ranked higher when they beat us in 2 weeks. At least for the moment I can say Roll Tide!

Saban was just waiting for the UGA-UNC game to end. He wanted the whole world to watch him unleash his fully operational death star.

That game ended when the team shit the bed in the third quarter.

That's about the same time that Saban put the sole of his boot on the neck of USCw.

Hey, DS, how's life and law working for you these days? The staff at the Lowe's in Pittsboro say they miss you, and want you to come back.

Heh. Practice is growing. Very lucky in that regard. Married life is good. Fayetteville isn't as bad as people make it out to be. Having a Donald Ross course to play less than one mile from the house on the other side of the lake/pond is good.

We go by the Lowe's when we go straight to Chapel Hill from Fayetteville, and every time I tell my wife how I wish it would burn to the fucking ground.
