DSL,

If his point was that they are 17-11, and someone thought they'd be 0-28 or 10-18 or whatever, then fine. Kudos to both. I don't know anyone who thought that TAMU and Mizzou would be O'fer at this point, and I don't know anyone who predicted Mizzou to 'be a doormat for decades'. In fact, before the start of the 2012 season, the Tigers were predicted to finish higher in the East than TAMU was in the West.

What I did hear, though, when talking about this is that you wouldn't have UNDEFEATED teams in the SEC as much as the BigXII. No one denies that an Okie State last year or Baylor this year are good teams. They are.

Fulla MOOOOOOWWWWWWWWXXXXXXXXXXXX-EEEHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!
I knew you'd like that. I also thought about throwing in "poise" somewhere in that post.

Not only is "poise" a much more difficult word to express in redneck phonetics, it's also a word rednecks rarely, if ever, use. Maybe there is a relationship b/w those two facts...

I think that DSL is pissed that an undefeated AnOSU has no chance of jumping an undefeated ACC team.

THey have no argument. Have you seen the Big 10-11-12 this year? Horrible.

Well, anOSU does have a chance.... Each of their teamates and fans should become Miss St. , AU, and whomever Alabama would play in fhe SECCG though because there is NOTHING standing between FSU and Pasadena.

Perhaps thats part of the bitch... Is FSU's schedule really more difficult than anOSU''s?? Hoprfully anOSU fans will keep their poise.

The Big 10 is horrible. No way tOSU deserves a chance. Not including their out of conference cupcakes.

Our schedule looks better based on how the teams were when we played them as opposed to their current record :) Clemson is a good win, and Miami isn't a good team but they'll end up with a decent enough record. Maryland was top 25 when we played them but injuries have killed their season UF-style. In reality our schedule hasn't been difficult but we haven't had any struggles either.

An article today puts our chances of playing VT in the ACCCG at 87%, and they have a solid defense. They have a good offense too - at sporadic times. Against Miami they were great...nonexistent much of the rest of the year but a senior QB and a few NFL players on offense gives them a puncher's chance with that defense.

I'd like to give IB a puncher's chance against Mike Tyson...

Our best three wins will prob be Wisconsin, MSU or Huskers, and Iowa/Michigan...FSU's will be Clemson, VT (maybe), and Miami. I'd give FSU a slight edge just because I think Clemson is the best of the bunch. But Miami has overrated for weeks and is probably closer to a 5-4 team than 7-2. They and VT are borderline Top 25 teams.

Y'all are all correct, but i was just trying to use poise in a sentence..... ;)

Looking at things currently, this would be a grand year to start the 4 team play off. Looking at things from a Bama perspective (always the right thing to do) I just hope we can make it unscathed and limp to Pasadena. A month to heal may help us against the Hun onslaught.

The Bama scoring defense stat is impressive but when you consider they gave up 42 to JFF and 60 to the other 9 teams, it's almost unbelievable.

The TAMU game was too early in the season (game 2). They've grown up a good bit since then.
