LOL!
They were probably recruiting him for his punting skills. Florida doesn't even sniff the #20s yet the 40s for a QB. They don't have to.

Apparently he's a 3-star QB who was uncharacteristically offered a scholly by UF. He also had offers from powerhouses like Syracuse, UMass, and Pittsburgh.
Congrats!

Florida didn't sign a quarterback at all in February, so they are probably loking at depth.

Second in the Directors Cup. Would going further in the CWS have gotten UF past Stanford?

So it's opening game week of our second season at this refugee outpost; oh for the good old days of cnnsi, peoplesforum, and worldcrashing, kinda matches the mindset of this season for UF.
Four-loss suckbuttitude is on the high end of expectations, keeping the non-losing season streak alive marks the low end.
The defense looks strong but the O still looks like it will struggle to put 21 points on the board against anyone good. Still the OLine can't be as horrid as it was last year - we have to hope. Results at TexAM and Tenny in weeks 2 and 3 will be telling if this year is going to have anything positive.
Word is they upgraded the underside of the West stands at the Swamp though they have not had an AA inspection yet.

Good lord, we were on our way to having the shortest season on record until that interception. The Aggies and Vols are going to need to suck bigtime for any chance the next two weeks.
The Driskell or Brissett dilemna reminds me of the year Galen couldn't choose between Rodney Brewer and Herbert Perry. They are so equally tepid to poor.
The OLine is improved from last year, but that doesn't take much. They still can't put a dent in a lousy team on 3rd and 2 or 4th and one.
The cover guys can cover, but they use the Fiasco Bowl method of tackling. Twelve penalties in the 1st half - if these guys don't get some brains 6-6 will be a fantasy.

Spot on. Pick a QB and go with it. The penalties were embarrassing. How does that happen? It took the D a half to wake up. Understandable. They schedule these teams first for a reason. No pre-season. Just wish they had scheduled a few more before next week because aTm is going ass rape them if they play like they played today.

So how much longer can Muschamp use anti-Urban sentiment to keep himself employed?

Obama is seeking reelection on anti-Bush sentiment and stands a reasonable chance to win with a worse record and resume than Muschamp. So, he could be there at least 4 more years...
