Good news for yall lol-poor folks like tree, apparently the price of a 10 person thanksgiving feast is down 5% from last year which was down 5% from the year before. It apparently costs $58 to feed a family of 10, which is surprising because you wouldnt even be able to feed 10 people with taco bell drive through with $58.

I think I said this elsewhere, but it is worth repeating, now that I am retired I do odd things for fun. One such fun thing is working food service, something I never had time to do but I very much enjoy. In doing so, I worked with one manager who smiled and told me last year that he was an assistant manager at Kentucky Fried Chicken. This time of year, people hit the KFC and buy $50, $60, and even $70 worth of instant mashed potatoes. Then they bring them home, stick them in the freezer (still in their Styrofoam), and thaw them out on Wednesday to have them for Thanksgiving dinner. So people with more money than brains are willing to drop $70 to buy shitball, fast food, instant mashed potatoes for Thanksgiving instead of spending $5 at the grocer on whole potatoes, peeling, slicing, boiling for an hour, add salt, pepper, milk, and butter, and serving the same amount, fresh. That's fucked up.

Well I am independently wealthy now and I am retired. So that gives me the freedom to do the things I want to do. Occasionally, (to be around young people and listen to their woes and help mentor them) I work food service. But most of the time I use my education and intelligence to work in education. That gives me the time and freedom to work with my wife and manage our family businesses. I have many interests.

Negating political discissions really does boil down to bitches. And its not that they don't listen, they WON'T listen. And bitches blackmail with their pussies rather than there be ANY conversation (even if they are not a part of it.)

I lost a friend of 30+ years because of my politics and a bitch. My friends and I are very bright and very worldly. When it was just men, we have had some very deep, philosophical political discissions. In a steel sharpens steel kind of way, the depth of our conversations really allowed us all to see a bigger picture, sharpen our thought process and debate skilz. And also, we really listened to each other.

Then, one of my closest friends, he moves a bitch into his house. She doesn't work. She doesn't pay any bills. All she is, is 18 years younger than him (he is 56) and all she does is spend his money and occasionally fuck him. That's it. I don't see any love there on her part. He loves her deeply.

Anyway, she found out about my politics and not only am I not allowed to talk politics in her presence, if she sees me again or hears me say one word, she said she will stop fucking my friend. So he and I had a private conversation that boiled down to us not being friends anymore simply because, well, he's in love. Basically, she is Lisa Page (but doesn't work) and my friend is Peter Strzok.

Really what this is, her politics and mine are polar opposites. I am willing to discuss things. She is not. She just wants me to hurry up and die to stop cancelling out her vote. She has nothing to say to me or anyone who thinks deeply about politics the way that I do. Politics can be seriously discussed but not with a bitch. My feelings on this, I wish him and her the best and I forgive my friend. I fear that 5 or 10 years down the road she will end up leaving him anyway and then maybe he and I can be friends again.
