When they go electronic with calling balls and strikes, will the umpire still stand behind the catcher?

UNC won with a walk off homerun for the third time in the NCAA postseason last night. Seems like their luck might run out soon...

Its too bad college baseball isnt a big deal, those super regionals and the CWS are probably the most Goat Pen representation you would ever see in the final 16 or 8 teams of an ncaa tournament.

Baseball is huge at A&M too, but what I mean is that it doesnt really move the national sports needle in terms of interest.

A&M could (probably going to be) get eliminated at some point having gone 30-0 against non-conference opponents this season. Potentially all 4 teams on our side of the CWS bracket will be SEC teams.

College baseball this past weekend was the best thing on TV, and nothing else was close.

My buddy who came in for member guest also went to Carolina, and we were watching the game in the middle of the couples party on Friday night. A decent sized group of Carolina alums and fans gathered round and went crazy when Honeycutt hit another walkoff.

Vance Honeycutt is clutch, and I still can't believe WVU threw to him. Then again, folks from eastern NC who know baseball know that Mazey (WVU's head coach) is a dumbass from his time as ECU's head coach in the 2000's.
