I thank you all... I took every opportunity I could to go up on weekends, at least once per month. I had the opportunities and I'm certainly glad I took them.

Sorry for your loss GBJs...I've almost lost my brother twice due to heart attacks and I dread late night/early a.m. phone calls.

Of course, nothing will happen.

But if this happened at Auburn, it would start chants of "Death penalty! Death penalty!"

Perfect response from a "Christian". Make judgment before you even know what happened or how. You are the grandest of hypocrites.

AA, you keep making the same error. You think that any statement that paints Bama football in a bad light is not Christian.

As if there is no article reporting that one of your coaches is being kicked out, and the stated reasons are because he broke recruiting rules. That's simply what the article said. I merely posted it, and mildly commented on it. If there was an article about the same situation at Florida or Tennessee, and I posted and commented on it, you would have no problem with it. In fact, I remember you posting about ominous repairs to Cecil Newton's church whose funding wasn't apparent, Milton McGregor and Bobby Lowder spilling the beans to the FBI, Danny Sheridan's bag man, some radio homer having secret tapes, etc.

You only snivel about "hypocrite" when your beloved Tide is besmirched. I will continue to besmirch, and continue to laugh at your whining. Besides, commenting on rampant cheating by UA, for which they are never held to account, is doing the Lord's work.

He did a Joker Phillips. None signed with Bama. He hid it from Saban, so he got the Andre Smith treatment.

But it does not change the fact, prof, that someone who claims to be a man of the "cloth" is an immoral hypocrite.

It's not serious. Saban didn't know about it. So it's no big deal.

It's not like a strength coach gave a loan to a player. Saban didn't know about that either. So nothing to see here. Move along.

It's not like another nose tackle got caught taking money from an agent. Saban wasn't aware, so boys will be boys. Case closed.

It's not like an offensive lineman was receiving improper benefits from Luther Davis. There's no way Saban could have known about that. And if Saban didn't know, who are we to judge?

Meanwhile, the NCAA crushed Ohio State for a few free tattoos for players. Too bad an OSU alum isn't in charge of NCAA rule compliance.

Was that hypocritical and unchristian for me to say?

Looks like Tom Brokaw will need a security detail next time he travels through the state of Alabama.

If you want to get a laugh in SEC country (the original) say something disparaging about Alabama.
