Seems up your alley. The most recent season involved a smart fridge, which your washer story reminded me of.

I gave a presentation in 1999 to a group of programmers - old school guys - about Java and what it meant and the example I used was smart devices - having a refrigerator read the bar code of the products you put in there to note expiration date and suggest recipes and a trash can to keep up with your shopping list of needs based on when you throw something out. They thought that was George Jetson shit I was talking about. Took a little longer than I expected but were pretty much there now

mudding and drywall done--plumbing and electric done

time for pain and tile

I'll never do it again

I just do the demolition and cleanup

I have a girl that teaches this stuff who charges me 20/hr does the drywall/mudding/paint and tile

this is the third and last bathroom shes done for me--next year the kitchen

I think she would be a good shot putter

I never do any of my remodeling. (1) I'm Lazy (2) I would mess it up. I know. I have seen me do it.

I did my deck just to leave a footprint when I leave

600 foot deck composite took me 4 months

should last about 10 years beyond my expiration date
