I'm reading James Franklin of Vanderbilt is jumping to Penn State.

That sucks for them and the SEC in general. He turned Vandy around and made them at least respectable. They went to bowl games and were winning. Having him at Vandy was a good thing and feel a bit sorry for them.

I can't believe he went to Penn State. With all the baggage and such there, I'm surprised anyone worth a @#$% would consider taking that job, particularly him since he was moving Vandy in the right direction and was on the edge of enjoying some major success. He will have to start over at Penn State. Best of luck to him.

Rumors have been flying all for months that the NCAA was going to relax some of Penn State's sanctions, maybe even the bowl ban beginning this year.

Penn State is a much better job than Vandy even with sanctions though. He's just got to get through 2-3 years of undermanned teams. He knows the Mid-Atlantic and grew up liking Penn State. Plus he's following the guy that followed Paterno, not Paterno himself.

No predictions... we don't have a proven qb... we have a single decent rb but have to rebuild the o line... all we have going for us is the Lane Train???

I only found out reading the sports page this morning. If Shiny were still alive I would have loved to read his meltdown though.

Damnation Peyton. One of the worst, if not THE worst, Super Bowls ever and you were in it. On the losing team. :(

On a better note....

A big thanks to Bruno Mars for reminding us what a good half time show is. At least the time used watching tonight's shit fest wasn't a total waste. :(

ACC QB > SEC QB

Sure, we'll claim Russell Wilson...why not?

NC State chased Wilson off...now wants to claim him? For shame

Also, Tennessee signs 35 recruits...what, couldn't Jones have run off a few more players?
