Not really a dictatorship since there's no single guy at the top calling the shots. More aptly compared to other empires from the past that oppressed their people more and more and had a never-ending thirst for military conquest and expansion. The primary difference being they mostly ruled by force and our current cadre of thugs, thieves, and war criminals enjoy a vast system of mass propaganda that divides and conquers its subjects, ensuring one of the two corrupt power hungry parties will always be in office. The billionaires at the top doing all this are playing you turds for the fools you are.

You're okay brah. I sometimes wonder if you and me (and maybe Dave) are the only non-troll posters here. The thing about Dave though is that he's actually a nice guy as opposed to complete assholes like the rest of us. While I respect him I don't envy that in the least, brah.
