I've learned that if I watch a TV series in a marathon, I start becoming highly critical of it because everything that happens from one episode to the other is fresh in my mind. It kind of ruins the watching experience.
I'm halfway thru the first season of Blacklist and now I"m like "these FBI people are stupid", and James Spader laughs condescendingly at every question he is asked - which wouldn't matter if you waited 7 days to watch between episodes but back to back to back, you want to punch him in the face.

Yep. Binging is not the proper model for network programs. They have so much more time to write thru that the filler is much higher. If a series has more than 13 eps in a season, I spread out my viewing...if it's a serial. 30 Rock doesn't matter.

speaking of 30 rock
Nearly three months after being involved in an accident that left a fellow comedian dead, Tracy Morgan may be months away from being able to fully walk again.
Benedict P. Morelli, an attorney for the former "Saturday Night Live" star, said Morgan is "really having a tough time" following the six-car June 7 crash that killed comedian James McNair, The Star-Ledger reported. Morgan's limo bus, in which McNair was traveling, was struck by a Wal-Mart truck.
Morelli said Morgan, who suffered a broken leg, nose and several ribs in the crash, still relies on a wheelchair.
"He's making incremental progress," Morelli said. "But they'll have to wait another month before they assess him cognitively."

There has to be a joke in there somewhere.

If Walmart hit me I'd play a wheelchair as long as I could, too.

Some of them are pretty good. His Einstein and Hemmingway are good money. I could have done without the John and Yoko...especially because Yoko was dressed like she on her way to go to the mall.

That was reminiscent of No Country For Old Men until it went off the rails...

For a commercial, though, I would give it my seal of approval. I watched it even though I find Kahlua to be too cloying to drink.

Yeah, I would not say it went off the rails, per se. I thought they could have dismounted the flashback story better, but it kept me for 4 minutes. That rarely happens with these commercials they drop on YouTube.
