just spent a few days in the Williamsburg/Yorktown area. I have to say I wasn't impressed. I think the cost of living is pretty reasonable there but that area was just bland.
On the water and all that it should offer, its just interstates and industry outside the tourist areas. I think I'd hate living there. To get 20 miles down the road it takes an hour because they only have 1 main artery.

I thought Boardwalk Empire would suck this season but tonight's episode really kicked it up a notch

Haven't watched it yet. Still working my way through The Leftovers. Will catch it this week.

An oldie, but with subtitles even funnier. Worth a look for a decent morning chuckle.

The sound this dude makes at the 1:13 mark is just killing me. Start at 1:00 if you want to skip the nonsense.

Awesome in and of itself, better with subtitles and absolutely epic once the mash up hits. Made my Tuesday.

that did crack me up. Amore is a song they sing in church?
also the fight video - the dude sounded like he was crying in pain while the dude was thanking god for nothing "swelling up too bad"

ok, so thanks to AA, I'm now watching "worst church singer" videos on youtube.
Someone posted this one and I thought "ok, this woman is going to suck" and instead, damn, for a local girl at church, she puts on one helluva Janis Joplin impersonation. She does remind of that monkey bank that slaps the cymbals together but that's beside the point.
this has to be a Pentecostal church. That crowd is about 10 minutes away from breaking out the snakes and speaking in tongues

I was expecting this when I clicked on it

The second guy walked off near the very end and said "Nope, that's all I'm doing", then proceeded to belt out a grand finale. Why did you lie, second guy?

I don't really like NCIS or shows like that - my wife watches them and every time I walk thru when she is watching it, seems like they are always in a morgue looking over a dead body.
But we both like James Spader so I stumbled upon a series on Netflix called Blacklist - I guess its on CBS - I'm not sure, but I'm a fan of that now. I'm only on the 4th episode. They tried to make it Silence of the Lambs meets CSI meets Sherlock Holmes on a $1.95 budget but I can appreciate the effort involved to make the show. So far there has always been some little twist at the end that keeps me hooked.

I love NCIS, and the LA one. No sure if the New Orleans one is gonna work though. Probably will though. Just a weird cast.

I have liked Blacklist when I've been able to catch it. It's on NBC, but I think it would do better as a cable show with 13 - 15 episodes. I think it's hard to hold its intensity with over 20 episodes a year.

I've gone through Sons of Anarchy and both Netflix shows, OITNB and House of Cards and now I'm finally settling into Breaking Bad. I've nearly finished season 2. it's not bad but I keep thinking Walter White is Malcolm's dad, Hal.

this is about as nerdy as I get - leaked Deadpool clip had such a positive reaction that Fox has decided to make the movie - Feb 2016 release date.
Ryan Reynolds is the perfect guy to play him.

I've been watching House of Cards. It's pretty good, but pretty unbelievable that Kevin Spacey is the only unscrupulous guy in DC and that he can play everybody as easily as he does. It's like JR Ewing manipulating a troop of cub scouts. The final scene with the little hottie he was fucking was pretty awesome, though...

J.R. Ewing never crossed my mind watching House Of Cards. Still doesn't.

I like HoC, but I stalled after a few eps of S2. The garage scene in S1 keeps annoying me. I will restart S2 in a few weeks, though.
