my dad would give a huge I told you so to hear that farmers are growing sweet potatoes. He tried to corner the market in the early 80's in our neck of the woods.

4 different varieties plus his famouns "hybrid" - a mistake he made when two plants fused together. You grow them just like tobacco - at least at the start by putting them in beds in early spring to start the plants and then transfer them to the field with a setter.

I had to dig a well

yes you read that right - Sumbitch made me dig a well with a goddamned shovel until I hit water so we could drive the truck with 55 gallon drums over to it, fill them up by hand and then hand water every one of those fucking plants he grew on 3 acres of land.

To this day I won't touch a sweet potato. A pox on them all, they are a scourge to mankind.

My eye is fucking twitching just typing this out.

"He never rode with Coffee Jack. Uncle Mac. That's all bull. I dont know who started that. He was shot down on his own porch in Hudspeth County.

When did he die?

Eighteen and seventy-nine.

No, I mean was it right away or in the night or when was it.

I believe it was that night. Or early of the mornin. She buried him herself. Diggin in that hard caliche. Then she just packed the wagon and hitched the horses and pulled out of there and she never did go back."

Irregardless, here's another passage from No Country For Old Men:

"They passed below him and he watched them out of sight down the river. He wasnt really even thinking about them. He was thinking about his truck. When the courthouse opened at nine oclock Monday morning someone was going to be calling in the vehicle number and getting his name and address. This was some twenty-four hours away. By then they would know who he was and they would never stop looking for him. Never, as in never.

He had a brother in California he was supposed to tell what? Arthur there's some old boys on their way down there to see you who propose to lower your balls between the jaws of a sixinch machinist's vise and commence crankin on the handle a quarter turn at a time whether you know where I'm at or not. You might want to think about movin to China."

I don't need to purchase. I've already got some land. I want that big time rent money.

I use BoxVPN

but the one that alot of people use is "hidemyass"

funny name but serious VPN.

Here is the problem - Netflix and Amazon won't show you stuff if they recognize your are using a VPN.

so I only use the VPN to download /torrent

and turn it off for everything

BoxVPN is like $30 a year.

We got 3 months of IP Vanish for $20. I didn't notice any better load times and still couldn't access live TV channels but we just got it so I need to learn more about Kodi. If I installed the VPN on Fire stick, it shouldn't affect my other network devices, right?

nope

you should know they are shutting down live tv on Kodi now though

two of the providers stopped loading their add-ins

chances are someone else will pop up and replace them but live TV on kodi is tough at the moment
