RIP Hizzy. Didn't really converse that much with him but loved reading his posts. There needs to be something added to the GP home page in remembrance of him.

I'd like to make a charity donation in his name. Has anyone seen an obituary? I couldn't find one online in the Houston newspaper. I would want his family to get an acknowlegement card.

I heard the sad news from BRM this morning.
I really enjoyed Hizzy, he was always one of my favorites at the Goat Pen.
His college football predictions were always entertaining (one of my Goat Pen highlights has to be getting him to do a preview of a St. X high school football game). The true tales from his real life (especially as a young Hizzy) always left me in stitches.
You will be dearly missed, Hizzy.
I've read some of the earlier posts here on Hizzy, I'm in on flowers and/or a charitable donation. BRM or aTm, please contact me if a PayPal or something is set up.

I just went ahead and hit the donate button at the top, sent some money to ATM and he can decide charity or flowers.

I take it you mean the Donate button that is at the top banner meant for donations to this board, correct?

I honestly think they would be very moved and honored. I think it would be a nice tribute to him.
