I've heard people who have visited India say that India stands for "I'll never do it again"...
if you aren't prepared for walking out of Mumbai airport, it will overwhelm you

We'll see if I go. The remaining budget dollars are going to be tight by Q4. United is getting killed today so their response will be interesting to watch.

Budget, Q4? This is business, pleasure, or a hybrid?

No, very doubtful. My wife has little interest in Asia.

Wow, so Twitter is buzzing that TMZ et al, got it wrong and all these reports about how he's a felon is actually a different guy. He might have really hit the jackpot now.

we've talked about this for years but my wife and I have decided for our 20th wedding anniversary we are going to Lake Louise.
Since its unlikely we'll be in that area anytime soon after this trip - particularly while we have the ability to hike and get around relatively easily , we are planning on hitting Glacier National Park and maybe spend time in Seattle or Vancouver.
Right now the plan is to fly to some location, presumably Seattle, rent a car and then make a triangle staying a few nights in each location.
Apparently for the Lake Louise area you have to book well in advanced. I was trying to get a price on hotels and the top rated hotels are all currently booked for the month of August 2017. Our plan is to go late July, Early August 2018, but its too early to book online more than a year in advance.
I'd be interested in opinions on how to plan it or what to do. Both my brother and my sister have done this. One took Amtrak, the other drove. I think flying will be the best best. They did the camping route for most of the area and while I like to camp, I don't want a "smell like ass 24/7" vacation.
I'm planning on 8 days with 1 day in the Seattle/Vancouver area to bookend the trip and 3 days at Lake Louise/3 Days at Glacier. No Tent camping, I ain't sleeping with bears.
