Did what we were supposed to do versus a bad MAC team:
490 yards of offense for Bama and 90 for Kent State.
The one Kent State TD was off an INT.

We threw four INTs in the game. That won't cut it against a real team.

No it wont. We lost the turnover battle and still won the game.
Gentlemen, Alabama football is lucky...

re Fowler: IIRC, he had to sit out his senior season of high school. Then had a red shirt season. Now he's happy to be playing and you'd probably be well served to pack a lunch playing against him. Fullback sized with running back speed. He'd be hard to stop for less than a yard gained.

Yeah, some of the players talked about him.
Hightower said something to the effect of, 'We're glad to be in a game because it'll let some of the knocks and brusies heal that we get from (Fowler) in practice.'

We should make a good showing in the Liberty Bowl.

You should be so lucky to make that prestigious bowl. We should be playing a few steps removed from the NC game in the Emerald bowl. I know, lofty expectations and all.

You're right AA. I let the win yesterday sooth a football starved soul.
4 and 5 * recruits do not always translate to wins. Takes chemistry and confidence. Then again, sometimes I think some recruiting services may actually over-inflate some kids ratings! You ever hear of Scout?

Gave my son my tickets. He took this picture of Kujo (Cyrus Kouandjio) standing next to Fluker. Kujo is a true freshman. By comparison, Fluker is 6'6" and 350 lbs.
Jesus...
