I can't stand that term "sanctuary city" because the term (in and of itself) is a partial lie. Its only a half-truth (the other half, lie), and that is the intent. It is intended to BE a lie, but one that covers (politically) the people who believe in it.
Who is getting sanctuary? Illegal aliens? Sort of. The sanctuary is being granted to female illegal aliens. Never men. Okay, so who are those females being given sanctuary from? Local law enforcement. And what is the sanctuary exactly? Well, local cops are FORBIDDEN (by local/state law) from asking the immigration status of a woman who calls the police to wherever she is living for a domestic disturbance. The purpose behind this is to allow women to have complete and total faith in local law enforcement to protect them with a gun, a badge, and the POWER OF FORCE to remove the man of the house without any FEAR that there will be a call to I-C-E if she is living here unlawfully. Its pure feminist imperative, woman (regardless of her nationality) has only RIGHTS, man has only REPONSIBILITIES.
Now, democrats are intentionally deceptive about all of this. They call the whole concept of "sanctuary city" a "safety issue." It is. It allows illegal alien women to feel "safe" from the local cops. But when the governor of Florida or Texas bus their illegal aliens up to a "sanctuary city", the local democrats (who wanted illegal alien women to have sanctuary from local law enforcement) lose their shit, because they can't be HONEST about what the term "sanctuary city" is. Because if they come right out and say that it was only intended to give women comfort in calling the police for domestic disturbance (comfort that there will be no federal repercussions with regards to immigration status) and NOT a term to say that all illegal aliens are welcome in their city and given sanctuary, then they risk losing re-election for being assholes who are just being feminist.
Anyway, I don't like the term. And I have explained why. And I hope those governors in Texas and Florida continue to do what they are doing.

Only read the first sentence if IB's last post. Did he blame sanctuary cities on feminism?

Trump would never have funded them without a price.
First of all, there wouldn't BE a war in Ukraine if Trump was still President. So we should just stop right there. But if you want to be an asshole about it, then not only would Trump have gone, he would have actually SPOKEN in the video to the President of Ukraine and we would be proud to hear him. Biden can't do that anymore.
Then Trump would have got on a plane and flew to Moscow to meet Putin to tell him, What-the-fuck?!?!? And that would probably be the end of the war (that wouldn't have started anyway.) The hell with Ukraine, they didn't start this war. Why isn't Biden in Moscow stopping the war?
The rest of that, is just noise. Biden has no fucking CLUE what is going on over there. All he can do is repeat whatever narrative the DNC tells him to parrot. Fuck everything else you have to say.
She voted to defund the police and this happens. (sigh)

Why would you have to win back working class voters from a party that wants to cut Social Security, cut Medicare, and give massive tax breaks to billionaires and hugely profitable corporations? Besides, of course, that most working class repubs vote based on their self-perceived identity, irregardless of whether or not the policies of the republican party are completely detrimental to them. Plus, it's a cult...

Bernie addresses your question in the vid. One of the first things he says in fact.

The "working class" (whatever the fuck that is) does not care about Social Security, Medicare, tax breaks to billionaires, or hugely profitable corporations. The "working class" cares about maximizing their earning power, their benefits, and their holidays and vacations while they are working. Because they work. Moreover, the "working class" REALLY cares about immigration. They do not like immigrants because migrant labor diminishes the bargaining power the "working class" has with a hugely profitable corporations. You want to win backing working class people? Enforce the border and stop migration. Oh, I forgot, that is a non-starter for the DNC.
The "I-will-never-work-or-I-am-disabled class" cares about Social Security, Medicare, and perhaps, tax breaks to billionaires. But I would be perfectly happy taking the "I-will-never-work-or-I-am-disabled class" right to vote away from them. Unlike people who worked all their life and retired, these people are not deserving of their vote. But the "I-will-never-work-or-I-am-disabled class" IS the base of the democrat party.
Bernie is fucking braindead. Just like you. You guys can not think at all. All you can do is repeat DNC narratives.

ends permanent alimony
Welcome to the democratic party ladies. Hey hedge, you don't need the "working class" anymore. All you need are the whores who divorce their husbands, go fuck chad, and don't want to work.
