Just like Godfather 2, the Sharknado sequel did not disappoint.

The most unbelievable part was when they were stuck on the hood of the cab and had to swing over to the sidewalk, the guy took some rope and threw one end over a pole and never tied it off or anything, just used a rope with one end hanging over a pole to swing to the curb and somehow it gave purchase. Maybe there was glue on the rope at precisely the spot that it hit the pole. They showed the rope hanging over the pole every time somebody swung to the curb as if to say "yeah, we know this breaks all laws of physics but we don't care". I liked that...

Don't know if this is legit (some talk that it's not), but African cocoa growers tasting chocolate for the first time.

Nice romantic touch at the end of the movie. I bet DS wishes he could have pulled off his engagement the same way.

I wonder why chocolate is expensive where they grow cocoa?

The processing and shipping apparently. Of course if they had milk, butter, and some cane sugar, they could make their own.

That's the way I used to feel when I sent Stu out with money to buy crack. Sadly, I was usually disappointed...

Yeah, I noticed that when given the chocolate, he didn't run to his wife or kids. He immediately went to his male friends and male workers.
I wonder if that's the village IB is from?

Heh.
I'm just amazed at the psychological pull of white people on them. Well, maybe I'm not amazed, but it was interesting to see it.

I really want to see that James Brown movie.
I think alot of people my age and background were introduced to James Brown thru Eddie Murphy which was a funny but unfortunate caricature of him. Only later did I see how talented he was musically and only recently have I come to realize how important he was to the civil rights movement.
I would have loved to see James Brown circa 1974 in concert
Also can't wait to see the new Sin City.

" would have loved to see James Brown circa 1974 in concert"
Here's a piece from NPR that aired yesterday talking about how they got James Brown to open for the Rolling Stones on some awards show in 1964. Keith Richards later said it was the greatest mistake of their career...
