Where be your gibes now? your
gambols? your songs? your flashes of merriment,
that were wont to set the table on a roar? Not one
now, to mock your own grinning? quite chap-fallen?

Yeah, I am interested in the cause of death on her.

The news said she was found with one shoe. The flyer for her said she was wearing a tank top the night she went missing.

Today was the first day in 2 week since she went missing that the evenings weren't hovering around freezing.

She passed out and died from exposure? Or maybe bleed to death internally? Or maybe she did hide in the dude's house and then he got sick of her and stashed her there one night after she passed out and she died of hypothermia.

Her gums probably became infected, and she died from the untreated infection...

And they needed the 4 seats for their own employees. Heh. Flying blows. It hasn't always.

The comments had it right. No telling how much this is going to cost them, could be in the millions, all they had to do was offer a $1000 voucher, free hotel and first class on the next available flight. Hard to believe that they'd be this stupid, but of course "they" are just some random airline employee making the call (or else didn't bother to call a supervisor and ask if he could offer more incentive or whatever) who might've been having a bad day himself or else was just an asshole to start with who wanted to flex his authority. Doubt whoever made that call will be employed much longer...

It'll be fun to watch United try to spin this.

All airlines are crappy, but United is especially so.

"“After our team looked for volunteers, one customer refused to leave the aircraft voluntarily and law enforcement was asked to come to the gate. We apologize for the overbook situation. Further details on the removed customer should be directed to authorities,” the spokesman said."
