Bad thing for Putin, and maybe the rest of the world with regard to nukes, this shows his inability, militarily, to keep the regions together. The Wagner Group claims 25k troops. Is that enough to occupy that Southern Russia/Crimea area? Will Chechnya be emboldened? I know there leader has recently pledged loyalty to Putin, but his dad didn’t and these Rooskies will flip in an opportune minute.

Our senators are so in the pocket of the military industrial complex. We shouldn't give two shits for Ukraine. They are not in NATO. We send too much money as it is, and, now, they want us to send more of our young men to fight. We haven't won a war since 1945. You wonder why military enrollment is down. Who wants to put their life in the hands of these old farts.

the USA has not had a formal, congressional, declaration of war, against another country since 1942. since 1942, troops were sent abroad to die simply on the order of the President. Biden will not be sending any troops anywhere unless the DNC tells him to. and the DNC already knows that if he sends even one GI to Ukraine, that might cost the DNC the White House in 2024. so no one is going anywhere

The US declared war on the Axis states in the balkans (Hungary/Romania/Bulgaria) in 1942.

I thought that Congress hit all of the Axis powers (other than Japan) on 12/11/41. I guess I was wrong and IB was actually right for once in his life. Oh well. At least I'm not IB.
