In the end, Kiffin is a millionaire with a hottie wife. Hard to feel too sorry for him, or laugh at his "misfortune".

The jersies will look fine, Neyland will be rocking, and the team will be geeked to the max - it'll be bedlam. We'll stop Mitchell for no gain on the first play and there'll be such a clamor that geoloigists will detect a seismic event.
Then Murray will hit an underneath route that goes for 45 yds and things will settle down precipitously.

This pattern also appears on the Vols' adidas TECHFIT baselayer biceps and Tennessee will wear tonal orange wear adidas Team Speed vertical socks with Crazyquick and adizero 5-Star 2.0 cleats, which are a combination of gray and orange, including a checkerboard pattern on the heel of the shoe.
Christ almighty, how big a committee of queers did it take to come up with this combination and description?

"I saw a Parlady kick attempt today. It made it over the line of scrimmage."
Maybe he should change his name to Malarky...

Glad to see UT has moved past Kiffin. He won't lose his house though. That's just stupid reporting.

I remember that weekend like it was yesterday. Pete Carroll had jumped ship at USC, and Garrett started getting rejections from all sorts of legit candidates (due in part to impending sanctions). By that Sunday, Sarkisian of UW had turned it down. I was thinking at the time - "damn, they are far enough down the list that our boy Kiffin might come into play."
I felt bad for us because of the timing (3 weeks before NSD), but I could see why he jumped, and I never got into the whole hate thing. I tend to think most UT fans hate him less now that Kiffin screwed the pooch wrt his dream job.

There's a thin line b/w hate and delight...

Yeah, we're all delighting in his current misfortune, no argument there.
But as has been noted, it's not lke he's going to drown himself off Laguna Beach (see: hotwife+millions in vault).

He did wreck a car UT rented for him - not a mile from his house while taking a coed home at 2am (before Layla and the kids could move to TN). So hanging on to the hotwife may not exactly be a given...

Man, Tennessee just cannot catch a break. Good to see the UT fans cheering their team as they leave the field-- not that I would expect anything different, but that was a fantastic effort from the Vols.
