Which Bush are you referring to?
Both.

Let it be noted that you did not add your nemisis Bill Clinton to this list.

You are on the trail of a true human being. This is good to see.

I try not to think of the Clintons. But they certainly belong on that list. Every time I hear "Secretary of State Hillary Clinton" I don't know whether to puke or laugh. Ol' Slick Willy was a joke. He should kiss Newt Gingrich's ass every day for keeping him from being a forgettable one-termer.

How was that?

Clinton was the best President since Ronnie.

Cold, like the approaching winter. Perhaps you are not on the right trail after all.

Washte.

True dat. He signed the last - and what may be the last - balanced budget in US history. A true fiscal conservative's hero. He belongs on Mt. Rushmore.

Man Made Global Warming is a monumental hoax, a massive fraud, a widespread charade, a notorious flim-flam, a colossal con-job, and an outrageous scam.

I'd vote for him. In fact, I'd choose him over anyone in the current R field.

But I wouldn't let him babysit my underage nieces.

The Clintonian Golden Age is sadly over. Nowadays, if your checkbook is fat, the Dem's are coming after you. They hate anybody with fat checkbooks except for unions and Hollywood.

No they don't. They just yearn for the days that losing a Presidency doesn't mean 4years of bitterness.

Clinton signed what Newt sent him. And neither of them ever predicted the budgets they were passing would balance themselves out -- much less result in surpluses. The reason for that had nothing to do with either of them. Neither deserves credit for the unprecedented economic growth that happened as a result of Y2k and the dot.com boom. The tax revenues that were generated far exceeded all projections. It was a pleasant surprise for everyone. The good times were a result of a flash in the pan that was driven by technology and private enterprise, not sound economic planning by the government.

Anyone who continues to think of Clinton as a great POTUS because of the budget surpluses that happened on his watch might as well go ahead and give him credit for the sun coming up in the morning, too.
