Neither the Yanks or Red Sox are in the playoffs if the season ended today. Has to be a long time since this has happened after the all-star break.

Week away from the trade deadline and there's nothing big in the works. No scoop on Ohtani or Trout that I can see. Guessing they're staying put which would probably be wise. The Mets will probably sell off a good sized chunk of their bloated payroll though.
