Up until Saturday, I was fairly confident that Auburn would beat Ole Miss. Then two things made me a little less sure:

1. I looked at the SEC statistics: Ole Miss is #12 in most categories, but Auburn is #11 in a lot of them.

2. Their margin of loss to Arkansas was much smaller than ours.

If we win, it will be close.

Ole Miss is pathetic.

If you lose this year, immediately fire the entire staff. Youth and all the people who left after the championship is no excuse.

Period.

This will be the "Who Sucks Less? Bowl" version 3.0.

The first two WSL?B's were/are Auburn vs. Florida, and Georgia vs. Florida. Version 4.0 will be Auburn vs. Georgia.

I've been telling you, and who ever else would listen, your defense has sucked since Chizik got there. He and Malzhanenanen's hurry up offense are the problem. No time to rest between series. Roof is excellent.

I'm wonderin' about al.com's stat guy though...How can MississiPi be 11th and 12th in total defense?

First half was uneven, second half was much better...all things considered, 3-2 in October is acceptable. I expected 1-4, 2-3 at best.

UGA is our "lagniappe" game this year, meaning that if we win it, we'll have 8 regular season wins and that would be a nice bonus.

3-2 in October is a miracle. I agreed with your 1-4 or 2-3 expectations.

At least we qualified for Shreveport. That's a relief. Now, if we can just beat Georgia, we might skyrocket all the way up to the Music City or Peach. That's assuming anybody wearing orange and blue survives the Iron Bowl, though.

I don't have a great feeling about the Georgia game tomorrow.

I'm counting on three things:

1. The Dawgs stay lethargic and undisciplined like they have been in recent years.
2. Our home field advantage.
3. AA's assurances that we will win.

You should pick 3 different things to count on...so far, none of those are working.

Yeah, that was a large CF out there...game was over halfway through the 3rd quarter.

Alabama is going to do very bad things to us on the 26th.

7-4 against Auburn. Still want Georgia to keep Richt? That was as satisfying of a win as I can remember. Perfect day; perfect result. The hangover today is well worth it

Mercifully, I went to the Illinois vs. Michigan game yesterday afternoon, and didn't see it.

The score says it all. We suck right now, and the sleeping giant of Georgia has awakened.

Congrats, DDAL.

You'd rather sit through a B10 game? The only thing which could have possibly made that bearable was having your family near.
