It’s not every day I reference the Guardian, but not much to argue on this one.

the bar for involuntary manslaughter is incredibly low given two factors, 1, someone died obviously and 2. clear negligence

Hard to argue against Baldwin ignoring a risk of pointing a gun at someone even if an armorer told him it wasn't loaded

Its the first rule of gun handling

i believe that Baldwin is guilty of homicide (involuntary, obviously) but I don't think they will be able to convict. I think the government is going to have a hard time putting 12 people on a jury that will agree to convict the man. That said, I don't think all 12 will say not-guilty. I think it will be a hung jury if it comes down to that.

Likely, they are pressing charges to cut some kind of a deal with Baldwin. I don't know what that is, but that would be my guess.

I think it would be easy to find a jury of 12 people (or 120, or 1200) who would agree to convict you very quickly...

More than 90 per cent of the heroin now found in Philadelphia contains xylazine, or 'tranq', which was developed in 1962 as an anesthetic for veterinary procedures, and its use has soared since the pandemic

It causes a blackout stupor along with deep, festering wounds that frequently lead to amputations

not that any NFL person gets their sports news from The Nation but I think this is a perfect example of woke dumbasses being intolerant in the name of tolerance

Tony Dungy is a horrible man because he questions why schools should put tampon machines in boys bathrooms?

We had to take one of the pooches to the vet this week, they gave him methadone to calm him down. I also overheard one of the vets telling another customer that they had given her dog fentanyl. I figured it was a mastiff, but when they brought her dog out, it was a toy Pomeranian. Couldn't have weighed more than 5 lbs. Of course my first thought was, why rob a pharmacy if you're jones'ing? Rob a damn vet, they got the good shit...
