He was never going to be prosecuted for simply having classified documents. I mean, the Archives sent him letters for months (years) asking him to return them, if he had just complied, nobody would've ever even heard about it. Not saying it's not concerning that classified documents get misplaced, b/c it is, but I would guess there are literally millions of them floating around and obviously mistakes can be made. But to steadfastly refuse to return them, like a small child refusing to give up a toy, and then deliberately lying and sending letters saying they've all been returned when they really hadn't?

Clearly if the Archives were happy to handle it confidentially via letters, the simple having of the documents isn't the biggest issue. But flouting the request for their return (for years)? Just face it, Trump is a creep and a conscious criminal, Biden turned in the documents his guys found on his own accord, the Archives didn't even know they were missing. Obviously the Fox News crowd doesn't care about these differences, just like they didn't care that Trump had classified documents and refused to return them. Doesn't mean that Biden isn't a doddering octogenarian either, but the cases are not even close to the same...

I like how there's a whole DOJ criminal investigation just because.

I saw a post on twitter that stuck with me. The guy was a registered nurse and he said back in 2005 when he was hired, he was paid $27 an hour and he could buy, it was something silly, like 110 caramel candies with an hours wage.

Now the nurses are hired in at $35 an hour, but they can only buy 55 caramels on an hours wage.

In truth (and I think you will even agree with me), we don't need the majority of these agencies. Some of them accomplish nothing. They accomplish nothing because the jobs created within them are largely, patronage jobs.



You know how many people at the SEC were fired after not acting the 5 times they were warned about Bernie Madoff? Zero.

I would have said the most important and honorable three letter federal agency was the FBI, but that was prior to Strzok and Lisa Page. Now? Fuck 'em.

As far as Houston and the shooting goes, obviously it is gang-bangers and they used hand guns. 50 shots fired, 5 people hit and only 1 dead? Its early and details are sketchy but I doubt those are rifles. Sound like hand guns to me.
