"FIL--died five years ago, and she hadn't spoken to him in the twelve years prior to that--played minor league ball for the Giants. So, I am hoping for some of those genes."

What genes? The genes that give you the ability to stand around pulling your pud for hours at a time whilst dipping Skoal? You've already got those, in abundance...

Well, the genetics must be decent because her half brother (dad's child with his 19 year old mistress) is a pitcher for ECU who was named national player of the week recently.

Haven't been to the Daily News site in ages. I forgot how addictive the click bait is there. Took 20 minutes from me clicking on irresponsible teachers and their sexual exploits. The NJ teacher was particularly cute.

I'm not sure if it says more about that quip or the usual quality of your work, but that was one of your best...

I try
passing the time til 4
debating on watching the fight for 20 bucks at a buddies house

some reason I think it will be too much a scientific fight rather then the good fights we had 20 years ago--too much defense. defensive fights are boring

He's going to charge you to come to his house? Nice friends you've got.

Yeah, I will bring something to my friend's house (which would be worth more than "my share" of his PPV cost), but he wouldn't charge me.

It will be a very technical fight because Mayweather is probably the most disciplined fighter I've ever watched in my life. I think it will be good, considering they are both past their prime. I wish this fight was happening 5 years ago, though. I think Pac would have had more of a chance. Right now, he just has his right hand chance.

Everybody says this fight should have happened 5 years ago but if both fighters are about the same level of past their prime, why should it matter? As long as they beat the fuck out of each other, everyone will go home happy. Except the folks who ordered on PPV. They'll just stay home happy.
