Well, you probably won't get an unbiased view from either Team Democrat or Club Republican, I'm sure there's a mainstream third viewpoint though, right?

From my research.....

two different programs. One instituted under Bush called operation Wide Receiver results in a few dozen guns being lost at the border when Mexican authorities failed to track the guns after they had crossed. The program was ended when they realized Mexico either couldn't or wouldn't confront gun owners.

Under Obama, operation Fast and Furious resulting in thousands of guns being delivered across the border via straw purchases with the intent of tracking the guns by following the gun handlers hoping it lead to heads of Mexican drug cartels.

You have to question how a Fortune magazine writer, who happens to be writing a favorable article defending gun walking gets access to over 2000 confidential documents given that executive privilege is keeping documents out of the hands of a congressional committee. Not that this isn't anything Bush and Rove wouldn't do. Obama was supposed to be better - transparency , constitutional law and all that bullshit he ran on.

I don't know if what the Fortune writer had access to is what the Obama Administration is blocking Congress from seeing, though. They gave full transparency to the investigator, though. So, if things they do not want leaked ultimately get leaked, they know who was the only non-Admin entity that had access.

No government will ever be totally transparent. It cuts in the face of self-preservation.

I would've like that better if you'd said "cuts like a fart in the face of self-preservation...

I'm totally shocked it was Roberts who tilted the court and not Kennedy. Shocked.

I expect Ginny Thomas, in a fit of Tea Party rage aftermath, to make an early morning drunk call to Anita Hill again...

Roberts is surprising but I never really suspected that Romney was going to fight Obamacare if he was elected.

This ruling however gives him an energized base and hot button issue to run on until November

They should also charge a surcharge for subscribers of Cinemax, then, too.

The City has basically been waging a war on strip clubs for a long time now. The "rape investigations" thing is probably just a use for the money that can help them support this latest broadside.

my frequenting strip clubs on any regular basis are years behind me but I never really felt that strip clubs were the blight on society people made them out to be.

worst strip club experience........

friend and I go to the "Bunny Club" on a Saturday afternoon about 1:30. We walked in raising the total number of customers in the place to....2. They had a disinterested bartender sweeping up, a fat 20-ish something girl coming in around 185 wearing a short skirt, thong and bikini top leaning against the bar on a bar stool with her big ass pointed out to the bar tables and another stripper who in all honesty must have been on the back stretch of 60. If she was any younger, it was some rough ass years she lived thru.

We stay, god knows why and order some beers and make our way to the pool table. The fat girl turns into a waitress, delivers our second round of beers and rubs her mostly bare ass against my friend. He laughed nervously but male hormones took hold enough for him to reach down and rub one of her ass cheeks with his hand. She went away and approached Hagatha in the next room to talk about something. I hear her gravely voice talking to the fat girl in stripper-ese about us but I couldn't make it out.

A minute or so later this woman more suited to posing with a bundle of sticks for a Led Zeppelin album cover walks in to the pool room with her skirt pulled up above her waist showing us a shaved puss that looked like albino ostrich skin, proceeds to take a pool ball off the table and rub it on that nasty thing and says "I bet you two girls never saw anything like that!" and then walks out laughing manically like the witch from the Wizard of Oz. She was nasty. That ball might have went out a solid but it came back a stripe.

I have to admit, she was right. I've never seen anything like it since. And of course that had to be the first time I ever saw a shaved puss before at the ripe old age of 22. Damned near ruined me on the experience. We did finish the game of pool and my friend got some more ass rubbin in before we left.

Come to think of it, I'm pretty sure she told the fat girl we weren't interested and implied we might have been fags as she went back into the other room. I bet she is dead now.

That is far and away a great experience. The worst experiences are ones that end in zero stories and a wallet light on a few 20s (at best) or even more light via a Ponce de Leon-like foray into finding love in a Champagne Room.

Love eCat's stories. He brings a Lewis Grizzard or Prarie Home Companion vibe to TGP.

you gotta keep in mind, this was the late 80's and all the women I had access to were hirsute farm girls or appeared on VHS vintage porn. I didn't know women shaved it on purpose. I thought that poor woman had just had surgery or a nasty medical condition. Maybe she was the Powder of strippers, what did I know?

I mean normally a 22 year old is going to be a bit repulsed by a wrinkly old grandma showing you her cooter, but throw in one with a receding hairline and its life altering. That's a where were you when Kennedy got shot moment. Not only did she think I was a fag, but she probably thought I was a deaf mute too cause I just stood there frozen when she walked in. Woman could have robbed me and I wouldn't have moved a muscle.
