No doubt unc would have stormed the court last night if Rivers had missed the shot, right Hedge?

btw.......would be nice to see unc and iu play in the tourney and hear the iu fans chant C0-DY's BETTER, clap-clap,clap-clap-clap, CO-DY's BETTER.......

Shot goes in, Roy is 10-10 against Duke; but, alas, he is 9-11.

The answer to my trivia question a gazillion posts ago was Shaq, Mourning, and Laettner ended up playing on the 2004-05 Miami Heat together.

I thought it was interesting. The rest of yas can stfu...

eC, you weren't looking at last night's game like i was...if carolina drops to a 2 seed, who's region do you think they'll end up in? and they're the one 2 seed who can pull fans to atlanta at a rate that might rival the cats. i definitely wanted them to handle the dookies last night. and like someone pointed out, letting rivers lionize himself on their home floor is beyond the pale

someone please tell me that i misheard last night when they said that dook had won 8 of the last 13 in chapel freakin' hill? that can't be right, can it? and this doesn't figure last night's results in. it's 9 of 14, now, if those numbers are right

Owlman if you dont think there was a foul on the Zeller tip your nuts look at his body why would be reaching back for a ball that he was in position to block, he was shoved with two hands right in the back.

I can live with the travel not being called but cant live with that call,

Listen, Carolina gets the benefit of the doubt most of the time, except when we play Dook. It's part of the game. You accept it and fight through it.

Carolina lost that game by not getting the ball inside more down the stretch, some stupid plays during the last four minutes and missing free throws.

In short, Carolina didn't close the game out. When you're playing a top tier team, you have to close the game out. You can't just coast. If you do coast, the result is what you saw last night.

That being said, this picture is humorous, and I am posting it here for Goldie:

scintillating analysis.

in short, Zeller single-handedly gave dook 3 chances to win in the final 20 seconds. and they did.

DS, Carolina lost that game because they took their foot off of Dukes neck. They still lack any type of killer instinct. That won't work in March.

"

We had some lean years early in the period you cite while Dook simultaneously had some of their best teams ever. I'm not sure if those numbers are right, but I wouldn't be shocked, considering the Gut and Doh years. 2010 wasn't anything to write home about, either. OTOH, Hansbrow's class won in Cameron 4 years in a row, and I'm sure we won there a couple of other times, and I'm pretty sure we'll win there this year. Home court doesn't mean much in this rivalry. It's the type of rivalry against a consistently top tier foe that UK fans have never had the (ahem) pleasure of enjoying in the historically horrid SEC. We haven't been able to coast along against chumps for our entire existence like UK has. So glad you have a winning home record against a bunch of football schools that for decades didn't even care about hoops. I'm sure you're just as proud of that as those 4 titles from the Stone Age. Real relevant to the modern game...

"Owlman if you dont think there was a foul on the Zeller tip your nut"

I thought goldie was asking Spacer to tip his nuts. I didn't know what that meant, but I liked the sound of it...

A little humor from KSR....

Calipari turned 53 today, but when asked how it feels to turn 53, Cal told the media, “Two years were vacated so I’m really turning 51.”

Digger Phelps earlier today told the UK fans attending college gameday at Vandy that today was Vandy's day and for them not to change Go Big Blue when they were filming college game day.
