They will have recruits making visits to most (if not all) games.

No penalties the entire game. Unbelievable.

Yeah, the penalties is something I am feeling really good about.

Several people are harping on the run yardage and such while forgetting who we played. Penalties is a great equalizer. It doesn't matter the level of the opponent you still get penalties. Yet, we got none. That's a big deal. I hope that carries through the rest of the season.

Now if a certain @#$%^ can learn to kick field goals. Heck, if he can just learn how to kick period...

The officials' WWAVC contract didn't take effect until September 1.

Well, even the mighty WWAVC must throw us a bone or two here and there. It would be painfully obvious if we lost to the likes of the "powerful" Austin Peay squad of what is unfolding before us on the field which is bold, upfront, raw, in your face anti-Vol attack.

He's the QB coach and by all accounts doing a good job.

Of course I think I could coach the Winston kid and do alright.

I was fixing to say, Randy did pretty damn good at KY as I recall. The first season he was there you noticed an immediate impact. KY almost beat us his first season there. The QB was tearing us apart. Then again, the guy made sasquatch look like a little monkey he was so big. Our little pee wee team had to gang tackle him all at once to stop him.

Now Randy Sanders seems to be doing fine in his new place as well.

The Randy Sanders years will always befuddle us it seems. Was it really Foolmer who caused the problem or was it the fact they refused to get rid of some assistants who weren't doing their job?

I have strong concerns that question is not work place safe. I will not be pulling up Yahoo to search on Randy Spears. :)

Well. This isn't too good. Six turnovers and we are only up by two TDs. Credit the defense for getting those turnovers. They've already improved tremendously over last year.

We better find a passing game and fast. I'm looking at our schedule. We have a 4-8 season ahead of us without a decent passing game, 5-7 type if we are lucky.

Then again, the Gators are looking like they are ripe to be beaten this year. We may pull out a 6-6 season.
