Too late. I have already started a memorial for him that will rival the great Bon Jovi send off.

LOL. Yes, my reports of Augie's untimely demise may or may not be premature. eCat nailed my reference. So, is this how the Bon Jovi thing starts? Glad I could be patient zero.

Speaking of Bon Jovi, I had drinks with an industry guy I know last week. Dude is a maniac, but that is a different story. His son goes to Notre Dame with Jon's boy and they were roommates for two years. So, this past December they ask the son if he wants to spend New Years with the Bongiovis in St. Barths. The son obviously was like "ummm, yeah." Anyway, they fly privately down to Sint Maarten and then hop over to St. Barths on a yacht. They did a night at Paul McCartney's and I think attended Elton John's New Years party (it may not have been Elton, though. I had a lot of bourbon that night, so some of the details of the story are admittedly fuzzy. Either way, it was an international star that hosted a party he attended).

So, my friend grabs his phone and starts scrolling through pictures of the vacation and there was a pic of Ali hugged up with Cindy Crawford, her head on his chest, giving the duck lipped face to the camera...and he captioned it to his dad as "my new gf." Dude was having a good time.

Obviously, Cindy is married and 50 (and looks great...I wasn't sure if her commercials were lighting tricks. They are not). Ali said, though, that her daughter looks EXACTLY like her but she's only 15. So, Ali is biding his time before he takes a crack at it. He legitimately has 3, but 8 is a better spread if he wants to keep getting invites.

I've set up a "fundme" account for Augie to help with funeral expenses. Just make a donation to WWW.gofundme.com\10ac. Thanks.

Yeah, Ali is the son. I probably should not use proper names. I try to keep my stories void of defining facts. Jon likes the kid because he doesn't get Jesse into gossip columns when they hang out.

Time Warner/Charter/Spectrum

whatever they are called - their DVR sucks ass. Can't even record based on keyword. How is that possible in 2017?

Can you burn stuff off their DVR to an external hard drive?

I just got it but I doubt it - not easliy. I mean you can buy a DVD recorder that has component in and burn DVDs by hooking the dvr up to the DVD recorder, but I suspect whats on the hard drive itself is encrypted.

All this is just temporary anyways. within 2 years, the DVR will be obsolete and everything will be cloud based/on demand.
