How can you break up a tech entity where there is no cost to the consumer? What is in it for anyone? Where are the damages? What kind of real power does Twitter have? Its free, spin up ANOTHER Twitter to compete with it and delete posts there.

I am angry that Twitter has hired social justice warriors that are schills for the Democrat party and those schills decide (on their own subjective authority) which tweets stay and which tweets are deleted. But no one has ever actually paid any money to make sure those tweets remain. So, no one has a case and no government entity is regulating it. No $$$$$ is changing hands. And (well) that is everything.

To say conservatives have squandered an opportunity in the last 4 years is an understatement. Still, I'd rather have that than a Romney, Jeb Bush or Rubio presidency. I might have preferred a Ted Cruz presidency and honestly it probably would have happened for Ted had he just been serious about immigration. For fucks sake, he is a Texas Senator, how could he misread the pulse of the nation on that.

Now we have people like Boebert, Walker, Oz, Greene running and all these MAGA people line up to vote for them just giving elections away. Even Vance is a carpet bagger who understood he had to go all in on MAGA to get elected.

While I like Rand Paul, he would have been just as controversial as Trump, just in different ways - he would have let government shut down in a game of chicken with congress, he would have been labeled an anti-semite when he pulled funding for Israel, he would have been labeled a racist / anti-LBGTQ when he supported no government interference in how a person runs their business, and the guy doesn't even believe in pasteurized milk, much less any level of pushing for vaccines - now granted, I don't believe in mandatory vaccinations, never have, but you can't go hard in the opposite direction either. Also Paul would have encouraged union busting, true market minimum wage, limiting the fed's ability to manipulate the money supply, remove the protection for pre-existing conditions on insurance and finally he would have been a nightmare for the environment.

I like what Paul represent, and while he isn't his father, he still deals in absolutes and not nuance. He has complete faith in the market to solve every problem.
