I wouldn't mind it. I want three places, though: Beach, mountains, city. Rotate among the three. I don't want to do any one place.

Nah. I like the South. SEC sports, NOLA, southern cuisine, and women. Gonna stay close. I'll just have three retirement houses.

I've spent 3 weeks at Portland over the years working with Intel

Its an awesome town. I like it better than Seattle.

However, neither town would like me.

maybe 8-10 years ago I was considering moving to the triangle or Charlotte for those reasons.

But then I realized, so was everyone else.

My wife and I are going to do *something* when my daughter starts college housing wise.

What that is I don't know. I have a 2 year plan to renovate the house to add value and make it sell quickly.

It starts with getting rid of (8) four wheelers I have in the back yard.

I like Portland. I also like Denver. In the north, I like Minneapolis. Very underrated city.

. I'm 2/3 the way there. currently live in North Greenville County to help the firm start an office there. Keep an apartment at the main office in uptown Charlotte. If Greenville is successful, then the next expansion will be in Charleston in 5 years.

I have a beach place and a city place. I need a cabin in the mountains.

I don't have any desire to be near the beach.

lol.

I love the beach. Fishing/boating, a culture that celebrates day drinking, scantily clad women, fresh seafood, sunshine.

I'm not a big fan of the beach either, but the wife is definitely focused on it. Mountain living is good in spots. The best is uptown living because, at my age, eating and drinking is the highlight of my life.

You can eat and drink very well at most beach locations.
