The NCAA outlawed hosting camps away from campus for recruiting mainly because Oklahoma State was ridiculously holding their camps in Houston. This is just the new way of coaching recruits at a camp to get around the rule.

If you let schools host satellite camps, that could lead to Hurry Up No Huddle offenses, which Saban also tried to ban.
Yes, I still miss Tiger Prowl. Saban banned that too.
