I don't know if quickly is correct, but, yeah, Saban embraces the Christian ideal of forgiveness. Sometimes that bites you.

I thought giving second chances to wayward UGA football players, and then turning them into stars, was OUR thing...

Now maybe Bulldog fans can start whining and crying and sniveling about Bama for a change.

Regarding the girl recanting her story (and then getting arrested for filing false domestic abuse charges)....

I don’t mind Saban’s zero tolerance policy (per se.) What bothers me is that his whole incident is going to tell us more about Saban than it will about Taylor. What Saban has to do is say that he was wrong and to humbly apologize to Taylor for jumping to conclusions and booting him. Saban has to ask Taylor to forgive him and come back to the team. I think we all know this wont happen, Saban is a very prideful alpha male. And prideful alpha men do not typically apologize for anything.

I think it's likely she was paid to change her story. Which is more likely IMO than her having a crisis of conscience and deciding to recant a made-up story and hoping to jail. People who would make up a story like that don't do things like that usually.

And I want Taylor gone. Never wanted him here in the first place. He's a risk Saban didn't need to take.

If she was paid, they will find out. If not (if she truly lied and had a crisis of conscience), and Saban doesn't renege on what he did, than Saban is an @sshole. There is no third way.

They may or may not find out. It's not a foregone conclusion.

Not angry, depressed. About UNC being out. I expected Dook would still be playing...

Tough luck with Marshall staying put. Pitino or Prohm may work out too but I suppose fans are bummed.

Correct. Danny Sheridan says he knows who the bagman is. He's an Auburn booster. Danny will disclose the name as soon as his lawyer approves. Auburn will get the death penalty for this.

tigerdroppings.com says the bagman is Bobby Lowder. He's cooperating with a joint FBI/REC Task Force investigating his bank. He's confessed to bankrolling Auburn's widespread ties to ISIS in return for reduced jail time.

But you didn't hear it from me.

Yes, Virginia, there is a tigerdroppings.com. It's been a valuable source of news about Auburn's imminent NCAA sanctions.
