I want more communities to stand up and pat themselves on the back for being a sanctuary city and how wonderful they are for accepting illegals

they are just asking for busloads of illegals to be shipped to them

then a week later they are going to declare an emergency, say their support systems are overwhelmed and ask for federal funding

all the while talking about how inhumane it is for illegals to be shipped to them and they should stay on the border in facilities that are overwhelmed.

Besides, all these places that the migrants have been shipped have lost population in recent years…They should have plenty of capacity to take on more. Why should Southern states have to absorb migrants from Souther borders AND the migrants coming from the oppressed Northern stars?

Because we grow sweet potatoes and tobacco, amongst other crops that require labor that nobody (and I mean nobody) who is an American citizen will deign to perform, at any price...

The way it's supposed to work is you raise the price until the job is filled. But in 'murica we just import cheap labor from other countries instead. Capitalists once again get what they want and the American worker gets F'ed in the butt.

Yeah, me too, every summer starting in 8th grade. No kid of anybody my age has ever done it though. You think your boy would? For minimum wage (which was like 2.25 an hour when we were doing it)? It was hard but actually kindad fun to be out there with everybody, smoking, dipping, etc...
