Katie is ignorant. She wants to be quietly elected by ignorant voters who don't know she is ignorant. She just wants to be elected based on group identity, not on principles or beliefs.

Holy shit! Just saw some breaking news. Mexico has apparently just joined a hostile military alliance with Russia that provides robust training and exercise programs with the Russian army, and placing weapons on the Mexican border. And if we try to do anything about it, we will be the biggest war criminal dicks ever. And oh yeah, if anyone even thinks about blaming Russia for any wrongdoing it's all just propaganda of course.
