Good luck the rest of the way, Ghost...barring some scheduling quirk next year with A&M coming aboard, we'll see you in Hogtown next year.
That was a brutal game to watch...reminded me of 1988 and 1989 when neither team could do squat offensively for most of either one of those games. Our most effective play last night was punting to y'all. I don't think I've seen a team muff that many punts in a single game.
Next week is all about avoiding any serious injuries. 7-5 is looking about right, with Georgia potentially being a coin-flip. Leaning toward us losing that one, though.

If we can get our act together and win TWLOCP in two weeks, the season will be bearable. I really don't want to go to Atlanta and see them get waxed again.

TWLOCP is the new "Who Sucks Less?" Bowl.
Georgia only wins that one if Halley's comet is flying over Jacksonville during halftime.

To add to the satisfaction of yesterday's win, we had a LOT of big-time recruits at that game. They had to like what they saw, i.e., "I could be a starter for Auburn this time next year."

Three LSU starters were suspended for the Auburn game. That may limit the carnage somewhat.
I assume they'll be back for the LSU-Alabama game, when their presence may influence the outcome.

I saw that on Woolly last night. The student newspaper said a possible drug test failure, and this could turn into multiple game suspensions at the least.
And whether those three are in Tuscaloosa or not, Bama wins against LSU.

It was that synthetic pot that is all the rage with kids today because most state congresses have not made it illegal yet. If it isnt illegal in LA, and it is, in fact, synthetic pot, then 1 game is fair.

Agreed. I hope they play. If they are popped again, multiple game suspensions would be fair. First time? Nah.

The kids should have erred on the side of caution and not tried it, but I don't fault them for trying something you can buy in a novelty store. They have to sit for a game for failing a screening, but, like you said, they should play Nov. 5 unless this was a second offense or there other aggravating factors.

They sold that "Spice" in local stores here up to a few months ago. A kid buys something at 7-Eleven, I think it's reasonable to assume that they could have been of a mind that it was okay.

I don't know, so I'm asking... how many times did Bama's safety Greene pop before the NCAA suspended him for one year?

Spice has nasty psychological side effects too.

Three times, I believe.

Thanks AA...That's a bit lenient in my book.

Well, that ass-whipping wasn't entirely surprising...LSU is lots better than us this year and they played like it.

Y'all must be saving yourselves for the can-o-whippin' you'll unleash on Georgia and an unsuspecting, undersized, overwhelmed Alabama squad.

We'll get beat up even worse by Bama. Unlike LSU, the Tide will be bloodthirsty for revenge after last year's historic Meltdown in T-Town, a.k.a. The Camback.
I'm hoping AA is right about the GA game.
