you got a shot at the top seed in the FCS playoffs...
speaking of, now that Div. I-A has a college football playoff.... calling I-AA the 'FCS' makes no sense.

Silly boy. I know you are probably "hurting" after losing the game yesterday in such dramatic, last-second, effort by the fighting French. London is to be commended for his coaching efforts. Yes he will be fired this season but he'll land on his feet soon enough.

Every time I see BC on SportsCenter (which is rare) I chuckle. They have as much of a chance for a title as Cincinnati State. None. But it is funny to watch IB think they do.

They don't have a chance. They HAD a chance in 2007. That was it.

I didn't see the game, but from the statistics BC played a fantastic defensive game today - no sarcasm. I thought NIU might give them some trouble with their offensive schemes but the Eagles completely shut them down.

Thank you. Yes they did. The defense really played shutout ball. I am more than convinced (with just what, 150 yards of offense for NIU today?) that BC has the BEST defense in all of college football. And its not even close. I mean that INT ran back almost 80 yards gave NIU 1st and goal at the 4 or 5 or whatever it was. That TD was not on the defense. And NIU's only other scoring in the game with the kickoff return for the TD. Even still, BC only won 17-14.
BC has Duke next week. I'm quite convinced they can hold Duke to 150 yards of offense. Or less. I'm still convinced they can beat Duke though. BC's QB situation is not even really settled yet.

17: The number of points surrendered by the BC defense this season. Of the 31 points allowed, 14 came from a turnover by the offense (the Hilliman fumble against FSU) or special teams (the kickoff return against NIU).
Bet is still on Rat if you want it. This about it all week if you want, any OBJECTIVE measurement. In fact, I'll take ANYONE'S action. BC has the #1 defense in the country. No one is even close to BC right now. I see no reason why this doesn't continue.

Wake Forest 3
BC 0
LMAO
The end of this game was hilarious. All Wake Forest had to do is run out the clock and they fumble inside their own 15. Then BC gets the ball down to the 2 with 28 secs remaining (with no timeouts) and inexplicably decides to try and run it up the middle. No gain. No time left. Addazio spikes his headset into the ground

LOL
Their defense continues to dominate as IB predicted. The meat of the schedule is coming up though.

I feel bad for the kids. Its plainly obvious why Florida wasn't interested in keeping Addazio. He's not a coach.

I really feel bad for the defensive players. To play so well all season and know that if you give up just one point... you lose.
