Florida has clinched a Sugar berth, basically. The SEC champion will be #2 and go to the title game. Florida will be in the BCS top 4 and thus qualify as an automatic selection under the "Kansas State rule" and will likely be selected by the Sugar to replace the SEC winner that they will lose. A&M, South Carolina, LSU and the loser of the SEC title game are eliminated from BCS berths.

No SEC fan cares about basketball except Kentuckians but the SEC was pounded by the Big East this year in their "challenge", 9 games to 3. Including Notre Dame dominating Kentucky.
Florida looks like they're the best team in the SEC

Alabama had a chance at #17 Cinci. Fell just a bit short. Grant only has one senior on this team. Next year, we'll make some noise.

A&M beat future Big East power Houston!
Ron Mexico would be happy to know that Prairie View also beat them.

2012(13) SEC Bowls -
MusicCity - Dec 31 - Vandy/NCSt
Peach - Dec 31 - LSU/clemson
Gator - Jan 1 - MissSt/Nwstrn
Outback - Jan 1 - cocks/Mich
Citrus - Jan 1 - dawgs/Nebr
Sugar - Jan 2 - Gators/Loovull
Cotton - Jan 4 - TexAM/Okla
Bham - Jan 5 - Pitt/Ole Miss
BCSCG - Jan 7 - Bama/Notre Dame
Decent lineup - SEC should take at least 5 of them, but who knows what happens after a 4 week break.

The Irish and the Scots have a love-hate relationship - always have. ANd there is a good reason for that:
As you may know, the Irish have co-opted much of the Scot's food, music, language and culture - and that makes sense because human expansion across the British isles happened from east to west. So, the Irish at one time, were Scots until they were kicked out and forced to settle the island to the west.

The Irish seem to have a love-hate relationship with many peoples. Well, I don't know about the love part so much...

The Irish are an affable lot. They love most people - even the Brits of late (not so much when they were killing each other).

Vandy makes it 1-0 for the SEC.
Beating an ACC team that the Vals beat is not a tremendous task, but the Dores will take their first 9 win season since Woodrow Wilson was in the White House.
