I saw it late last night / this morning also...pretty good episode. The young girl at the end singing "Dixie" has a nice voice.

While losing Golson to Ole Miss hurt (funny how that happened though), I'm glad RN didn't end up at Clemson so it's a wash. I hope Ole Miss makes the most of it and does some damage in the SECW over the next few years.

Heh - Ole Miss had a confluence of good fortune (RN's brother being there and Mom pushing strongly to join him, Golson acting a fool in Tallahassee and his girlfriend going to Ole Miss, etc.) and good coaching (good young, energetic staff who know how to recruit). But this is the sort of class that could propel them to being a perennial Top 25 team - let these kids get a lot of playing time this year and be set up for good things the following two years. That sort of success along could perpetuate in future recruiting classes.

The only real problem OM faces is that Mississippi just isn't a great state for talent traditionally, but neither is Tennessee and they've been a traditional power.

Speaking of which - Vandy...WTF? Now THAT'S some great recruiting!

We've heard this song before. Wake me up when Ole Miss is still in the division hunt come November.

Well, being in the same division as LSU, Bama, and TAMU will make it tough to really be in the division hunt and the great class won't pay too many dividends this year. But if Wallace continues to develop they could compete in 2014.

Ole Miss was competitive in each of those games this season, and had 4th quarter leads against both A&M and LSU...the additional depth will help a lot in the 4th quarter this year.

Wesley McGriff, one of the main guys in charge of assembling Ole Miss' suspiciously good recruiting class, bolted for a job with the Saints. Hope you weren't expecting to play for him, kids!

Did he "bolt" or is he moving up, advancing his career? Are you saying he's getting out of town before the investigation starts?

Or did he do an excellent job with his latest class and someone in the NFL noticed?

It's not like he faked an illness just to get out of a job and then turned around and took another one.

I'm sure their program is clean. This is Ole Miss we're talking about. The next time they cheat would be the first.
