I thought we got lucky with that roughing the punter call but apparently it was to the letter of the law. Is that right or not?

That said, we were still up 14 with about 14 minutes left, had the wind and unl was something like 1 for 8 on 3rd down conversions so I suspect we were still in very good shape to win the game but it could have been a pivotal call.

Mad Dog...yes according to the rule the roughing was called correctly. Anytime the leg is extended and there is contact you will see roughing called. Contact looked slight but them are the breaks. The fact an NU player was even putting himself in that position when you are about the get the ball near midfield or better is mind boggling. Nonetheless Nebraska had no answer for DR and no answer for converting on 3rd down. Better team won. Well...better coached team won. I think the athletes were pretty even overall but Michigan outcoached Nebraska in nearly every facet of that game. I was working that day so I had to watch the replay and it was probably the worst called game by both our OC and DC of the year...but I'm sure that Michigan's game plan had something to do with that as well.

I hope you beat the vermin. Michigan will end up in the Capital One Bowl it looks like and Nebraska will end up in either Tampa (Outback), Phoenix (Insight) or Houston (Car Care).
