heh

I get that Philly took advantage of a situation and made the best of it, commendable. And advancing in a playoff series is an accomplishment, no matter what the circumstance.

But the celebration in Philly is ridiculous, this aint no Nuggets-Sonics upset.

I'm also surprised this is Doug Collins' 1st series victory since the 89 Bulls, wow. I always thought the Grant Hill Pistons did more damage than that.

D-Rose's brother's comments I thought were completely idiotic, but I didn't give 2 shyts about that

what's funniest to me when stuff like this happens every talking head comments and it makes it very clear who does & who doesnt understand the nba collective bargaining agreement

Barkley, Kenny, Shaq, Cowherd, Cornheiser, the Around the Horn panel and most surprisingly WILBON (I seriously expected more from Mike) have no clue about it

I'd say the guys who get it the most are Simmons, Hollinger & Ryen Russillo

Do any of the writers out there know Chicago's best available move was to swap Boozer for Bargnani? And the whole "owners willing to go into the luxury tax in order to win a chip" stance is no longer valid?

Here are some repercussions for any team that is 4 mil over the luxury tax line and is a repeat lux tax payer, above & beyond the money they have to pay :

- You can't be involved in any sign & trades
- no Bi-annual exception
- Mid Level Exception drop to 3 mil per year for 3 years down from 5 mil per year for 4 years
- Lose the right to match RFAs signed to the regular MLE

None of the above, which is discussed ad nauseum on any NBA Fan website is ever mentioned by NBA TV Analysts or sports radio personalities, ever

and it's not because they don't want to discuss it, it's because they don't know it

Jimmy Butler starting for Deng: 21 points, 14 rebounds, 3 assists and took on the task of guarding LeBron.

It was also his 3rd straight 48 minute game.
