The ACC should be frozen out. Once FSU bolts there really is nothing left, much like the Big East.

I think one of the intended consequences of this deal is to further establish a top 4 conference pecking-order; another is to have a bargaining chip there to counter the inevitable wailings of jim delaney about the rose bowl; a third might be to have a bowl game owned by the two conferences instead of by a "bowl," a la the conference championship games, especially in light of the Sugar Bowl's price gouging tactics applied to Lsu/bammer this past January....

Was he dipping his wick in the Tri-Delt box. Did that once. Never again.

seems odd after his relative success with Football and then snagging Larry Brown.

I guess the demise of the big 12 naysayers might have gotten it wrong. maybe notredame will come knocking when they get essentially frozen out of a national championship formula

Frozen out? Nope. The powers that be are still planning on treating them like a one-team conference.

Well, that's been one shitty conference for the past 2 decades...

No doubt. They, however, still have a large following.

so is it true that Swofford saddled the ACC with a sub-par media deal in order to benefit his son's company?

So, the MIF's son (WR, 6-4, 200 lbs, ran a consistent 4.43 40 at the summer camps with a best of 4.39 and a worst of 4.49) has four full ride offers from MAC schools, but got a call from Butch Jones last night wanting him to Gray Shirt at UC. He's got stars in his eyes regarding the Bearcats, but I think it's a mistake. Any advice on how to steer him back towards his choice of Ball State (where I think he would be happiest), Bowling Green, Akron or Eastern Michigan?

can you get him in contact with any athletes who made a similar decision and it worked out favorably for them?
