eCat, I think the left has ALWAYS hated the people on the right. They HATE the people. And when I say hate, what I mean is the people on the left very quietly wishes that the people on the right would hurry up and DIE already for no other reason than to stop voting for the other guy. The people on the right may have felt that the left hates their ideas, but that is not enough. The left does not just hate the ideas of the right, they hate the people who believe in them. This seething hatred may not have been well known on the right, but it is now. At least Biden was being honest about his hatred of half the country, an honesty that Aaron Sorkin demonstrated 21 years ago in this scene:eCat wrote: ↑Sun Sep 04, 2022 4:10 pm I can't imagine a president of the United States calling out people who identify with MAGA as a threat to democracy.
That was incredibly stupid and divisive, and worse, it makes the progressives, who already have an overinflated sense of self importance believe they have the moral high ground.
its was a mistake of arrogance and frustration just to try to gain momentum for a political election.
for some people however its throwing gasoline on a fire.
Biden acts like its 20,000 people
Trump was filling up stadiums for rally's all over America. And we've got a president in office just shy of proclaiming those people are Nazis.
This fictitious scene (and this reality that is President Biden) is hard for the people on the right (like myself) because as a conservative, I like people. I like the people on the left even though they hate me and wish for my death. I know Biden wants me dead, dead. Afterall, I don't pay income taxes anymore so what use am I to him? Now, I like to talk to people on the left and all they do is give me a "talk to the hand" sign. They don't want to talk. The left just wants authority and power to make decisions for me without consulting me or anyone on the right. And when I use my power (to vote) to stop them, they want me to die. The left does not want to communicate with the right. They want the right to change or die.Ainsley Hayes wrote:You don't like the people.
I really think it might be a good idea for the states in this country to get a divorce from one another. This isn't working. We don't need or want another civil war, but Governor Abbott dumping the illegals (that Biden dumps on him) in Chicago, DC, and NYC, and then Biden refuses to even mention it (because that involves a dialogue that he refuses to engage with a person that Biden wishes would hurry up and die) I mean, we are pretty much done here. We are not talking to one another, let's just bag it.
