Hard for me to rank anything above Pulp Fiction, but Hollywood is solidly in 2nd place for me for Tarantino's movies. The ending was a little over the top, but whatever...

I've been avoiding looking this up, but it looks like we paid $23,443.14 throughout 2019 and early 2020 when we finished paying off my wife's student loans. I guess that was dumb.

It’s hard for me to rank Tarantino movies, they’re all so good. Pulp Fiction and Hollywood are both easily top 5 for me, though, as is Django.

yea, I can see that would enrage anyone in that position

just as pissed should be the people that deferred college to work , save and consequently paid taxes.

Seeing all these justifications from people in debt up to their ass as to why it should be done for them without accepting any responsibility, while at the same time, also not acknowledging this does nothing to address the issue AND our government is still setting up student loans for the returning students in college is just insane.

I think we made two payments after March 2020 totalling about $3,000, and I think theoretically we could request a refund for those because you're supposed to be able to get back payments you made during the pause, and I guess (theoretically) that would give her a balance that could be forgiven? However, I just tried to log into the company that was servicing her loans and its already like "sorry, you dont exist as far as we're concerned"

Definitely. This will just be something that happens now, and it will also continue to be priced in to the costs at colleges as snakes whisper to kids and parents not to worry about all those big numbers after the dollar signs, some President will probably make it all go away for you anyway, so the problem (which is theoretically high debt balances) will continue to get worse.
