It happens. DS had sex with a cow once (ok, 47 times) yet he's still employed.

Quote from Bobby Petrino's statement on his firing...
"I wish that I had been given the opportunity to meet with the players and staff prior to this evening's press conference and hope that I will be given the opportunity to give my apologies and say my goodbyes in person..."
And a collective bwahahahahaha from the city of Atlanta.

In the SEC if you fool around with loose women you're gone. In the Big 10 or Big East, if you're caught fooling around with little boys, you can hang around for a decade or so.

I can't believe they fired the guy. He's the best coach they could get there.

UT's new AD (whoever the hell that is) should go after him. It hasn't stopped us from hiring a shit stain before and this one would probably stick around.

Awkward...
Dorrell, who graduated from Arkansas in 2008 and worked in the athletics department since 2010, was engaged to marry the Razorbacks' swim director June 9.

So if Malzahn gets the Arkansas job, does that mean he never coached at Arkansas State?

I love the fact how they fired him by letter considering when he quit the Falcons after game 13 he taped letters to the players lockers telling them he quit. That guy is a bastard. UNLV should look into him though.

Firing Petrino not only cost Petrino 3.6m but assuming the program has to deal with defections and the usual chaos of losing a popular coach, its going to cost the Arkansas program millions as well.
I applaud Arkansas for doing the morally right thing but I'm not sure I would have done it.

It cost him $18 million! Like I said before, that was some expensive 25 year old snatch. Not to mention what his wife takes.
